Bagel's loooong belated birthday post

This loooong overdue post is of Bagel's 1st birthday!!!! on the 12th of jan. Haha, totally excited and happy just thinking back. Had a mini celebration for her in our neighbourhood park with 2 GRs, and a mongrel puppy. Didn't manage to snap the puppy's photo though, since it was so dark, or any of the other dogs that day, but anw dug up some old photo of theirs. So yup brought her to the park to play, whereupon my mum brought the cake. It was really funny though, cos one of the GR, Joy, saw the cake, could not contain her excitement and smashed her head straight into the cake. And obviously, much to the chagrin of the owner and the amusement of the rest of us. Fortunately, I had already save a laarge piece for us, humans. :p Tried the cake too and I must say dog cakes are ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! so much more than human cakes!! We got her banana (her fav) flavoured cake, with vanilla cream toppings. And boy was it yummy! The banana was nicely fragrant, not like those sickening smell of human banana cakes, and the vanilla was oooh drool worthy too. And what was best of it all was it had just the right amount of sweetness to it yet being really fragrant! Haha yes as one can see i truly enjoyed the cake :p
O the owner of Joy had a little girl who made this cute little birthday hat for bagel. It was soooo SWEET of her :D was looking for it in supermarts but they were all too big. And obviously we took a loong loong time putting it on her, and she took a short short time taking it out.

This was her yummy dinner after the cake in the park. Was not intending to give her kibbles but since she only manage at the end to eat very little cake, decided to add in her kibbles to the yummy steamed chicken slices. O and cos she's real submissive, she didn't feel very comfortable eating with so many dogs eyeing her cake i think, cos she eats real slow while the others finished theirs real fast. So anw, being the slow eater she is, some other dog came and helped her finish up :p heh fortunately I told my mum to bring home a biiig slice so i shared my piece with her.

And this is the adorable Joy. She's reallly cute and has really nice soft fur. And did i mention she's reaal pretty too? The mongrel puppy was so mesmerized by her he kept humping her throughout the mini party. And he's only 3 months!

O boy, yes. Scandalous shot of the birthday girl and her beau. Blush blush.

Love this pic!! And this handsome goldie here is Max. Bagel's first boyfriend and bff. Sadly though he'd be moving in feb 10. :( He's truly my FAVOURITE GR. Really cute and obedient. And he'd never fail to give me a hug whenever he sees me. He's kinda like the dog of the neighbourhood actually, everybody, old and young, absolutely lurves and adores him.

And this is Bagel's birthday cake. Real pretty right! Totally happy with it :D

And these are her birthday pressies from her loving owner... ME. Joy's owner gave her a ball as well, which was really sweet of them :D haha but sadly i've been too lazy to take pic of it yet :p so will upload it in the future. :D

As you can see the last toy already has a bite mark in it. O n most of the toys have already been destroyed in varying degrees by now.
